Middle Eastern coins

    I have two Middle Eastern coins that have me stumped. The first I'm not positive is actually a coin so I'm very curious. The second reminds me of some Egyptian coins I have. It says one piastre. I know a few countries in that area used piastres.

    The second one: Kingdom of Lybia, One piastre 1952 or 1953. Ruler - King Idris I.

    The first coin- minted in Egypt - 1293AH ( 1876)

    Thanks for the info. Does anyone know any more on the Egyptian one?

    5/10 qirsh, copper-nickel. Abdul-Hamid II (1876-1909).
