Rule #1...never argue with a Teller. :thumb:

I've had some luck negotiating coin purchases with the bank manager...but never argue with a Teller! I made that mistake...ONCE! :foot-mouth:

lol Okay.. I'm not the argumentative type. Any other information will help tons.

How much comes in each denomination?

In your opinion, what would be the best coins to go after?

How do I even go about asking specific banks around my area if they can do this for me?

Maybe just give up and do it the old fashion way? :(

    Thanks

Check out the roll searchers thread in the US Coins forum, you'll find whatever you need there, and if you don't, you can just ask.

Its is very easy to walk into a bank and ask the teller if you could buy a box of Nickels $100, Pennies $25, Quarters $500, Dimes $250 so on and so forth. Make sure to ask for wrappers as well, I hate when I forget.

yes to reroll the coins. Couple other things. Some banks will give you a plastic bag merchant bag to put your returns in so you don't have to re-roll, just put the coins in the bag, put your account# and seal it up. Also, if you want them to keep ordering them for you it's probably not a good idea to pick up coins and the return them to the same bank. The bank I order from always jokes that it's no problem to order, "just don't bring them back here". Multiple accounts at different banks helps.
