To grade it we would need images. You basically paid silver price. You probably got a good deal either way.

One of the site moderators was kind enough to provide you with a "how to" for pictures. I'll post in this thread.

Also, since the dawn of the Internet, things have been increasingly dumbed down and made easier for people to do.

For example, there is now a "Facebook" button on the latest BlackBerry mobile device. The Blackberry does it all for you. (Just an example, I do not own or endorse this product. Purely for illustration of this post.)

Another fine example is this site and sites like Photobucket. This site uses a version of forum software where the image tags, link tags, video tags, etc are all "hot buttoned" for the user. The Smiley Face :) is for emoticons, Earth with chain is for "links," Earth with Red X is to remove a link, the sqaure with a picture in it is to post a picture, and the film strip is to post a video. If you know how to paste in the link to the picture or can type in the link to the picture, you can post a picture or a link or a file, or a whatever. You do not need to memorize the code tags. (I use code VERY loosely here.) It's all done for you.

PS - if you mouse over the buttons, they tell you what they do. The site creator was kind enough to enable that feature to this site. You have to wait less than 1 second and a little black outlined box with black text and pastel yellow fill shows up and tells you what the button does.

With Photobucket, when you mouse over a picture in your ablum now, there are Four different "link" options for the picture. If you want a direct link, forum link (tags included), email this link, and something else. Photobucket does it for you.

A little harsh? In your opinion, yes.

In a world where it's all done for you??
