True... I am going to keep them for sure. I already kind of had the idea to keep them all but I wasn't sure. I knew for sure about that last one 00073073. What is that serial # catorgized as? Probably a repeater and a half radar?

And plus how would you store something like these? I am already low enough on sleeves and everytime I wanna go buy some sleeves I decide to save the extra $5, $10, or $15 to get a note lol. Its like I only have so much budget for this hobby (not a lot at all) and I hate to pay for sleeves when that $ can be spend on some stars out of a stack or an old type FRN or something...

If they are just regular notes that are consecutive I would spend them; if it is a Radar note or special note keep it but I myself do not know
    what are good serial patterns.

I just like them because I don't ever come across anything lower than 5 digit serials. The lowest one in the pic goes like this: L00073073G. And its CHCU. If that serial number isn't a collectible or fancy enough, than I really don't know what is. I mean I do have a CHCU radar that I have pulled out of circulation. (One time my pops found 100 consec CHCU $1's all over the floor of a night club and sold them to me as face and I looked through them and sure enough 1 was a radar). Let me know what you think on that last serial 00073073...

    Save them!

  12. Spend 'em. If it was 73737373, I'd keep it, but no, go get yourself a soda with it.

Serial# 00073073 isn't a true radar. Some seller's use a marketing gimmick to sell these by calling them mini-radars. IMO it doesn't count.

Yup. It's ALL about marketing and salesmanship. :)

My intentions are no to sell them; to hold on to them because of the neat serial #. Still, thank you for the input.

No salesmanship going on here. Just a guy trying to find a couple of neat bills to hold onto ;).

The serial numbers are semi-low. Most collectors only consider a 4 zero start, or 5 zero start to be low. The notes are not radars, and technically not repeaters. The notes are not star notes. If your collection is primarily fancy serial numbers, then keep the L00073073G.

Thanks for the input Steve. I have decided to keep them all and start collecting low serials of every $1 series from '09 and up. If I happen to come across anything lower than the ones I have in any of my stacks, then I will switch them out for lower ones.

Not suggesting you were going to sell them. You asked about this one being a radar (your post....Let me know what you think on that last serial 00073073... ). If you were to go onto ebay, you'll find sellers calling them radars or semi-radars when they actually aren't. Just didn't want you to think we were pulling a fast one on you when they are misrepresented by some people.

Btw, if I had found it, I would keep it, too.:)
