2002 Dime - Error or Damaged?

    I got this dime in a bank roll and it looks really weird. The front have scratches and the back is in very good shape without 1 scratch. Is this an error or has it been damaged?

    It is most likely one that has been obverse down on a parking lot surface and damaged.
