Has anyone heard of this? I was scanning some completed auctions and ran across some bison nickel sets with a production #0000. Is this a true error, or just another gimmick to sell bison nickels? here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/2005-US-MINT-BU...404699344QQcategoryZ41089QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Haha I thought so but I didnt want to say anything till someone like GDJMSP gave some input on the subject. Its sad how stuff on ebay gets marketed like that, thats why I never spend more than 20 bucks on a coin from ebay, if Im going to slap down $300 for a coin I want to hold the thing in my hand and look at it with my loupe not just stare at a couple of fuzzy pictures.
I am also sure everyone has noticed how some ebay photos are now showing proof coins that have been photographed at an angle so that determining proof cameo or cameo is impossible. They are advertising cameo and DCAM, so everyone please be careful. They are using every trick of the trade. I'm like CoinDude, I want to hold the coin in my hands before I purchase the thing. Jim
