I picked up three of these locally. They are in NGC Pr 70 holders.

Also, Australia 1/10 oz. Pr70 Koalas.

If anyone knows what they are worth, I would like to know.

They are worth 1/2 oz, and 1/10 oz + slight premium for grade.

I spoke with a bullion dealer who offered me $1000 each for the 1/2 oz., and that was before I told him that they were in Pr70 holders. So they are definitely worth more than bullion.

It seems you know what they are worth then!

They are obviously worth more than what the dealer offered.

The reason I asked was because I do have a good offer, but they could be worth a lot more.

They are not worth just bullion obviously.

It really depends on the buyer. Some would not choose to pay more than a slight premium over bullion for bullion issue coins (no matter what the grade). Others consider these to be collectible coins, with the added premium that comes with those.

In my experience, treating them like bullion is more likely to mirror the general market. If I was having them insured, I would add $30-50 over spot for them, but that's all.
