Hi everyone, im very excited tonight, been serching some rolls, found my first 98 and 2000 wammy, I will post some pics of them alittle later, But This one has me sweating, 1995d with doubling on reverse, i checked coppercoins.com and is very similar to the 1995d 1do-003 , now mine is on the reverse but same style, i then checked lincoln cent resource and some others and cant find any eaxples, strong doubling in motto, One Cent and Epluris. Please look at photos, please let me know your thoughts, Thanks again. 100_3136.jpg 100_3133.jpg 100_3129.jpg 100_3124.jpg 100_3166.jpg

Sorry www.coppercoins.com doesnt list a 95ddr..doesnt mean that there isn't though. Though in your case it appears that is split plate doubling, very common no extra value.

copper coins does list a 1995D DDR but there images show doubling in monumet with lincoln, my comparsion is with the 1995d double die obverse, shown inlogated doubling in a third picture, I have been checking ken potters doubling and it doesnt seem to match any of the machine doubling

Please read that message to the right of the picture on coppercoins. They no longer list the steps on the monument as a Doubled die but as trail die. It's not MD, it is split plate doubling. If you look the "doubling" is flat like unlike a true doubled die.

on second thought I still think it is split plate doubling but it could also be a die detoriation..

Doesn't really show the correct characteristics for a doubled-die, but hey, what do I know...

Shoewrecky Thankyou for the information, and yes you are correct, i did read that wavy steps are not considered tobe a double die, I due see some areas that due look like split platedoubling, But other areas arent shelf like such as epluribus, Of. States does have what looks like some shelf and also double die, or hub doubling on the st es, i will try to get better photos in the morning. But again thank you.
