I recently found a coin that looked like a fantasy piece. On the obverse it shows Georgio I, ruler of the "Principe di Seborga". After some research, I found out that the Principality is a 'nation' entirely enclosed by Italy that was 're-established' by the leader of a flower grower's co-op as a tourism ploy. But, hey, they make (or made?) their own currency. It's not too cheesy looking, either. Anyone else have a piece from Seborga? Thanks for that link! The 5 centesimi from 1995 shown there is the coin I found in a dealer's junk bin. I'm sure the mintage for it had to be more than for the trial coins, but I'm curious as to how many were produced. Stainless Steel issues like that could easily run into the hundreds of millions, but I've never seen any of these before. Has anyone else come across these? How rare do they seem to be (purely subjective opinion, of course).
