    Team CT,

Here is my most recent addition to the old collection. The only information which I've got on the coin says '1763 Austrian Thaler.' Besides that, can you add anything further. It would be appreciated.

    Thanks:hail: :hail: :hail:

Ben,this Thaler-sized coin is not from Austria at all,but the Austrian Netherlands, which was located in what is now Belgium. The saltire-like cross is the giveaway. There are similar pieces issued at Namur, but I have seen a few copper Liards.

'Kronenthaler' is the German for 'Crown Dollar'.I think Milan also had Kronenthalers as well.Milan was also an Austrian possession in the late 18th Century.
