1916 Russian 20 Kopeks

Hello,
I am trying to figure out what the grade and value of this coin would be. It looks to be in great shape and has a little toning to it. It was hard to show a ll the colors but you can make out some of them.

I suppose that this coin is rather expensive: about 15-17$.

 

Siberia Man, I'll disagree on the price, perhaps the market here is different than in Russia. I collect Imperial Russian coins, and the price range here in the US for that piece would be $6-12. Typically these coins are not too hard to find in higher grades, but they are still neat, and it's a great piece. Did you find it? buy it?

 

i agree with eugene, the coin retails in the uk for around £10 in that condition, there has been a massive upsurge in the price of imperial russian coins since the fall of communism as the coins are now far more readily available and interesting.

 

Rhino, I meant the price in Russia. It's a normal value for Russian collectors.:smile

 

I picked this up for about 7 dollars. It really caught my eye. I really love the eagle.

 

Also, Rhino89 I checked out your link on the bottom of your page regarding Russian-Money and it shows no pics at all of the coins and notes for it.
