Just bought what i consider to be my first serious coin purchase.
Up until now i have been sticking with mostly proof/mint sets and the occasional morgan or assorted half.
Pulled the trigger and bought a 1915 quarter eagle.
Absolutely beautiful coin if i do say so.

being kind of new to this hobby though i figured i would turn to you guys to help me grade it.
I am thinking it is AU, but wanted you to let me know what i am missing or if it is worth grading to see if it goes higher

That lighting is really weird -- on the reverse, it looks like the eagle's figure is in relief to the field, even though the details appear incuse.

These are too hard for me to grade even in-hand.
