i was roll searching pennies earlier today and i found an 09 about xf but i am a rookie so probably vf, any how, another penny caught me eye, on the front of a 84 lincoln you could see the impression of the lincoln memorial. is this considered an error coin? is it considered a multiple strike? how much would it be worth? i know photos help but i have poor lighting. i will have to take one in the morning. i am eager to know if this is a good find.
Please post pics in the morning so we can get a better idea of what it is. I'm pretty curious because you said its an "impression" which could also mean PMD caused by another coin if it is incused (pressed into or below the surface). Otherwise it could be a die clash that wouldn't buy you a new car but might get you lunch or great conversation depending on the detail!
