I was just perusing eBay like I do almost every day...and came across a couple coin listings that made me go "What the heck??"

How some people can do this amazes me...you think if you're gonna put yourself out there you would do your research 1st lol

Here is one of the listings I saw:
1981-S Wheat Penny - PROOF - Free shipping

The same seller has a bunch of listings for "wheat cents" that were magically minted in the 60's 70's and 80's

I'll keep an eye out for more...should provide a good laugh ;)

I can think of two reasons for those listings:
    1. The seller doesn't have a clue.
    2. Keyword spamming (his listings get looked by people searching on the word "wheat").

  6. CCMint

    CCMint Tempus fugit

...Or a "Copper" Morgan dollar I saw. LOL

    haha a copper Morgan?

Even though these are a travesty to numismatics...they sure provide some entertainment for a rainy day lol

BTW, I emailed that seller and alerted him about his 60's 70's and 80's "Wheat" pennies. Surprisingly he emailed back and thanked me haha
