    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

I have some coins that are not TPG, but are labeled AU and BU.
What Sheldon numbers would those grades correspond to? Thanks.

AU can range from 50-58 while BU can range from 60-70.

"BU" coins generally fall in the MS-60 to MS-62 range.

    AU is 50-58.

BU is generally MS60 to MS63. (Hobo, I believe 63 is included in BU)

FWIW, "choice BU" is 64 and "gem BU" is 65.

The relationship between the descriptive grades and the Sheldon grades is fuzzy at best.
After a quick Google search the majority of sites say BU = MS-60 thru MS-62.
    BUT
    Some say MS-60 thru MS-63.
Others say MS-61 thru MS-63 (which probably leaves MS-60 as just UNC).
