I found this Idaho state quarter and it kind of looks like the nickel was stamped over it or something. It is raised to the touch. Does anyone know what happened to make it like this and is it worth anything?

You're gonna have to clean up that photo a bit. It's freakin' way out of focus......

It is hard to see yet there does seem to be something there but don't quote me on that.

Yeah, the coin is out of focus (but at least your palm is in focus). It is impossible to say from your photo but it is possible that someone put some glue on your coin and stuck another coin to it leaving the glue and the reverse impression of the other coin.

  6. Is the lettering on the cent part forward, or backwards? Oh, and you should only hold a coin by the rims, at least, unless you have cotton gloves on.

Even with the poor focus, it looks like a glue up or press job.
Quarter planchet wouldn't fit in a nickel collar, and it's obviously
not a quarter minted on a nickel planchet.
