just finished my sba $1 coin collection with the verities was wondering what it is worth the 1999 proof coin has a gold tint to it was wondering if that would make it more valuable as well

The problem with these, to be frank....nobody wants them. So it's hard to go about pricing them, I think selling this is like a coin-flip, you can win or you can lose.

Let someone else chime in with a definite answer.

While your collection of this series looks nice, and I'm sure you appreciate them in the album you've worked to acquire them for, not many people go out of their way to collect the series.

They have to be the most unattractive coins ever to come from the U.S. Mint over the years.

I have the complete proofs of the SBAs; however, that's only because they happen to be in the proof sets for the years they were made.

But for that fact, I wouldn't have them at all.

The coin with the gold toning, I don't think would have any extra premium. I have quite a few SBAs that have toned gold (as have some of my Ikes and Jefferson nickels...lol). I do have a SBA that has toned purple and orange, oddly enough.

Depends on which verity ya'll are talkin' about. I like the later verities where Susan B. had her nose fixed. Dang, she was one fine lookin' woman, and I hear she sure could cook.
