Ever have any coin dreams...you know, while you where sleeping and dont tell me about your dreams of aquiring an 1933 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle or anything. Let's hear any and all, abstract and realistic.:secret: Here's My Story, Just last night I had a dream that I visited a coin store (it looked like a wood shack) with A LOT of drawers full of wheat pennies (somehow the drawers hadn't caved in under all the weight). Anyway, this guy had a shoebox sized box with about 20 miscellaneous U.S. coins. Anyway, one coin caught my attention, it was an old silver dollar in AG condition. I looked at the date and it said 1846 and I asked the store owner how much it was and he saiid $59 and said "I'LL TAKE IT"....I said "I'LL TAKE IT" instantly after he gave the price. Then I said to myself, "It's probably too good to be true", so I told him to hold on and I reexamined the coin and I noticed it was an 1846-S and it looked all legit and then I bought it; then I woke up and realized it was just a dream. The coin store I visited is, to my knowledge, not a real coin store and does not exist. I dont know much about Seated Dollars, so in the morning I looked in my coin book to see if there was such a thing as an 1846-S and I realized that there wasn't, but I was still bummed out that I didn't really get to buy a Seated Dollar for $59 bucks.
You may require professional help and not here on this type of forum. First of all most people do not remember exact coversations from a dream. In fact most people don't remember dreams to extensively at all. You may be having hallucinations caused by trace amounts of a narcotic placed on coins you've been handling impregnated by the coin police. Next they will come into your dreams and dream arrest you for attempting to dream purchase a dreamed up counterfeit coin. My suggestion is never go to sleep again or getrid of all your coins by sending to me. I will then suffer such dreams for you and free of charge.
Yes i actually had one last night I told a guy to make this coin look like it was from 1970. yeah pretty gay
Guilty. I actually have gone beyond photographic memory; I'm at "videographic". Scary. (How does that make you feel? Asked the doctor... :hammer: )
Hey folks: I have dreamed dreams of finding coins that either never existed, or where never recorded in a catalog. I have also had dreams of coins that come in strange shapes, unlike the ones we know of right now. I also have dreamed about finding coins on the ground, in corners, or even in vending machines with huge coin return slots. The consistent them of my dreaming about coins is volume, volume, volume. It is never about one coin, but usually piles of 50 coins and up and many of them. Uh oh, here comes the guys to lock me up now. fiftypee
I once dreamed that I found a rare error at the local CVS. Suddenly a lady, who I don't like in real life, ran by and grabbed it. I threw her to the ground and proceeded beating the livin' sh.......... Well, anyway I got the coin back. She did deserve it though because in real life the same lady sold her husband's coin collection when he was out of town on business.
dream Last week I started making coin rings. The one I was working on was a 64 half dollar, when went to bed I dreamt I lost the coin. It felt like I was searching for hours for that silly coin. I finally had to get up and watch some tv to get it off my mind!!! It's amazing what can stick in your mind at night.:goof:
I hear that I talk and walk in my sleep.....but the thing is....I don't ever remember dreams....it seems like I never remember them. BUT....I guess you could say that some of my coin dreams have come true....I would have never thought I would own a 1909-S VDB or a 1950 PF66 Franklin.....both I now own....in one way their were just a dream....now true!
