I sure hope so http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310228405372&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
I've heard this guy is honest.... But you get what you get in these "unsearched" lots. Sometimes you hit a homerun sometimes you strikeout (95% of the time).
No, They most likely search the coins before and plant a few seeds to make the customer feel it was legit. Never buy "Unsearched" lots! You don't even know how many coins they will send you.
Agreed...I personally avoid these. It's like playing the lottery IMHO...eventually someone wins, but it's not you.
That is never a good buy, unless you just need to throw your money away or want to gamble a little. Read his feedback that he has listed in his auction description. Do you realy think that if there were that many key date coins that he would not search them? he would be the dumbest coin seller in history. It's a scam, there are very few unsearched lots and by "unsearched" I mean at least not since the last collector bought them. If it was truly unsearched how would the seller know that "1800's to 1950's." was the date range? It is a selling tactic only. Don't belive the hype.
hmmmm Idk I trust this buyer, it is a girl who does it and call me naive but I trust her haha plus she was kind enough to let me know the shipping was delayed and with a no questions asked refund what do I have to loose I will post what I find when it arrives around Thursday or friday
It may or may not be a good deal. I have bought several (so they said) unsearched and unopened very old wheat cent rolls and they always added a loss leader in each roll. I bought one (so they said) unsearched and unopened indian head cent roll and there was one loss leader in it. All from Denver Coins in Colorado who has a high reputation but they added a disclaimer if you read between the lines. The rolls were salted with one nice coin in each of them and the total value was a lot less than what I paid for them. I had great fun searching them but realized that it was a scam practiced by a lot of people on ebay. The loss leader is put in the roll to keep you coming back buying more. IMHO
Hey, for $40 bucks, do it. It will more than cover the excitement you receive as you go thru the bags contents.
I don't really know. Why sell alot of your collection on the 'bay? If I was them I would only sell to a trusted dealer.
Don't know, unless I missed something it doesn't even say how much you're getting. You'll just have to wait and see man.
In a word NO I have a feeling you will pay at least 100 times face for what you get. Go to any coin shop and ask to see the bargain bin items you will do better for your money.
No, not a good buy. You're wasting money. But if you get $40 in entertainment then you're just spending money. Lance.
I bought a roll from them once. They do throw some nice stuff in, but no, they are searched. If you are starting a folder, you will get a lot of the common dates, but that's it.
