These just arrived so I thought I'd post some photos for you guys. If you have a small monitor, click the pics twice for super close-.ups What do you think?
Got mine yesterday. The Scientist is a goodlooking coin but that could be anyone flying a kite. The Founding Father is Ben Franklin, with his signature on the front, and the Continental Currency on the back. This is by far the best of the two. I'm saving up for the Legacy set. I might even get a high speed internet connection just for ordering that set.:goofer:
How much was the Founding Father proof from the mint? EDIT: Found it $35.00 I was thinking about getting these, but honestly the pictures on the mint's web site make me wait. They should have used the pictures above heh.
Both proof coins were $35.00 each, and the uncirculated were $33.00. The proof are selling for an avergae of about $60 on eBay.
Anyone have an idea when the American Legacy set will be listed for sale? Are there going to be any more Commemoratives produced for 2006?
No ideas when they will become available but there is another commem due out this year and it will be included in the legacy set, not sure if mint had determined which commem it will be. These coins are much better looking in hand than on mint website.
Great Pics.... Thanks for sharing... I can't wait to get mine... I just hope I don't get ripped off for mine. (bought on e-bay ""Pre-Sale"")
