I'd say F12 on the grade, but the mint mark troubles me. Can you get a larger & clearer pic of the reverse ?
ya know ive been doing some research on this coin and ive noticed that my coin has those spurs at the bottom and in the books and sites ive seen that this was a distinctive coin ,am i correct??i think thier refered to as dimples
Every Morgan dollar is a VAM, another name for variety - thus it is distinctive in that regard. But since I am not a VAM collector I don't know much about them. But if you could make the pics a little larger, we do have several VAM collectors here and they could probably help you.
GDJMSP CLICK ON THE PICS THEY WILL GET BIG ,,, SEE THE SPURS ON THE RIM LOWER PART OF THE COIN,sorry for the yelling
The reason people keep asking for larger pictures is not that they don't know how to use the thumbnails - it's that even in their enlarged state they don't show enough detail to answer your questions. Either post your pictures somewhere in a larger size and bracket the URL in "/" codes, or take closeups of the areas you're concerned about, and post those.
Hi, I can see your coin okay, and I would agree that it is an f-12. There is too much wear on the breast feathers of the eagle to get a higher grade, not to mention the wear on the front. I think the "spurs" you are referring to are called denticles
