Ok so a friend of mine from Australia had a bug to purchase some uncleaned romans on ebay & I pointed her to a decent seller I was once told about.

Shes doing it just for fun & to kill some time. Shes always dabbled with coins.

Shes done pretty well with I.Ding some coins thanks to Dougs site and Forvm but there is a few even I am stumped on.

Below are a few I am unsure of. The first one I especially think is wrong.

These are screen shots from Facebook/her images.

The first one actually appears to be a falus from Morocco, the six pointed star w/the dot in the center really looks like other ancient Moroccan coins I have seen.

Ok so she is right then. She is researching them on google but the ebay "lot" stated roman/byzantine. I know nothing of coins from Morocco.

Thanks for the help on that one :)

If you google "falus from Morocco" under the images tab you get a bunch of photos of similar looking coins.

She has it marked as from the 1800s, is it or is it a ancient?

I don't think the second one is Byzantine. I'm not entirely sure, since it's rather hard to make out, but it might be a Spanish cob.

I doubt the first is Moroccan. Most likely middle east, but I'd be looking pre 1200AD.
