    No.
    Some special edition UNCs and proofs were 40%, but not all.
    No circulating versions were made.

    Years ago I worked in electronics manufacturing and we had scales that weighed (counted) tantalum capacitors. You would be surprised how quickly (and accurately) that worked. We could weight even the smallest ones @5000/lot and the deviation would be less than 1/4 of one capacitor. I suspect something similar could be done with uncirculated coins.
