I saw this overpriced coin set, and then I noticed that the 1976 Bicentennial Ike dollar did not say 1776-1976, but just 1976. Look here or see the posted pic.
I cannot imagine why someone would fake the bicentennial dollar coin, there are millions of them out there, and they are pretty cheap, but then Chinese fake Morgans and pawn them off for $2 each.
That's photoshop, you can tell by the lighting change around the date, if the photoshop artist had been more skilled he/she would have used more than one color in that spot instead of just making it dark... anyway yea I wouldnt spend my money on it.
How much was it selling for? Might be the only one of it's kind and made in Pakistan, instead of China. then It would be worth double what the China one would be worth.
They didn't fake anything - the coins are replicas, not genuine coins. Notice the key word in the above quote from the Morgan Mint's web site - manufacturing.
