Was originally my mom's, now is mine. One side is a double headed eagle with a crown. Has the number 196 (could be another number after this where the necklace bracket is sealed on after the 6) on the top, 30 Delta Rho X on the bottom portion. Other side is the two people looking on, and a language I can't read but that might be greek. I'm totally clueless, attempted some google searches and some image searches but have had no luck. Maybe it isn't even a real coin and I'm an idiot, I don't know! Metal is potentially gold, but also unsure on this. Any help would be appreciated! Kind Regards, Spencer Sundahl
It was a coin commerorating the wedding of Constantine & Anne-Marie. I just looked in my digital copy of the 36th edition World Coin Catalog & this coin is not depicted!? It is listed but not depicted. It contains 0.3221 oz of silver.
Here is a link to Ebay that should depict a few of them. If you type "1964 30 drachma" into your search, you can find some on the Internet. It is a bullion coin & in high grade it is beautiful and somewhat more valuable. http://cgi.ebay.com/1964-GREECE-SILVER-30-DRACHMA-DRACHMAI-COIN-BU-CASKET-/130503248709
