I bought a mixed coin lot on ebay and paid 12.50 + $4 for shipping. The lot has 8 IHC (1900-1908) some show partial Liberty, and it has 2 40% silver Kennedy Halves(1968, 1969) and one 1865 2 cent piece that looks to be in VG shape. I want to post the link but do not want to get in trouble. However do you think I over paid? Thanks.

The Kennedy halves are worth over $6/ea just in silver melt value. I think you did well.

I don't think you would get in trouble. You can't post links to your personal auctions.

No, the 2 Kennedy halves are worth about the 12.50, so the rest were a bonus!

Sounds to me like a pretty good deal. Nice win.

    You did fine.

BTW, you can post just about any link you desire so long as it is not a link to your stuff.

Let's see, two Kennedy's melt value is $11.50, the 1865 2 cent piece runs from $16-$20(Numismedia.com) in G to VG, so let's say $18 so you're up to $29.50 on value so far, the IHC you figure around $2-$3 per(Numismedia.com) let's say $2.50 each there's another $20 so you have about $50 worth of coins for $16.50.

I'd say ya did good man!
