I have been trying to get one of these for a very long time

I have been looking for so long to find this commemorative in just the right condition.
But I finally found one, followed it for six days on eBay, and won it.
I have allways liked this coin and the waiting was worth it.

I love it Alan. Congratulations on your new pickup. Is that a hint of rose colored toning under the bust, or just a result of the lighting on the coin? As you've proved, it does pay to have patience.

I agree, I first thought that it looked cleaned, but polished sounds like a better opinion.

 

I had the same thought. The photos make it hard to tell...but it doesn't look right.
