I typically post in the "Roll searcher's" thread but I'll post here too if others are sharing what they are getting from their dime rolls.

    Fri - $250 dimes - 1 Roosie 1964
    Sat - $100 dimes - 1 Roosie 1964
    Monday - $30 in CWR dimes - you guessed it - 1 Roosie 1964
    Crazy right...
Tuesday - $100 Clear wrapped dimes - skunker

I kind of agree, one thread is good enough. If you do a box of dimes, halves, and cents, you'd have to post in three separate threads. That being said, nearly 1000 pages is a bit tough to reference and navigate. I think it should be locked and a new thread, exactly the same, opened. After that, roll-searching threads should be capped at 100 pages, so it'd be Roll-searchers pt. 2, etc. That'd make it a lot easier to browse.

I like the idea- I think there is a lot more to post than just silver finds. What about errors? I'm always looking for more dime error/variety suggestions to search for, and would love to hear something other than silver finds!

    Yes!!!!!!!

And to the OP, All I've ever really found searching in dime rolls is a couple off off strikes (uneven collars, not sure of the technical name) and 1 silver dime.

Dime rolls have sucked for me. I always get some to search when I pick up cents, but I never find any silver, errors or even upgrades to my existing set. Dimes seem to have really been picked over in my area, anyway.

I think the biggest problem with Roosevelt dimes for someone new to them like me is that there isn't anywhere near as much info on key dates, varieties, and errors as there are for Mercury dimes and Lincoln cents. That's why I back the OP on starting this thread. I have a few DDs but mostly slight broadstikes and a couple RPMs. I'd love some ideas other than the 82 no P to search for!

Maybe if you'd ask in the roll searchers thread someone would answer. I know I've answered it several times over the past year...

Actually I thought I did once with no replies, but I will have to look. Do you know of any errors for the 1936 mercury dime? Mine is probably the roughest out of all my Mercurys, but it appears to have a strike through on the reverse SW of EPU, and the rim has 2 notches on the top, one above the E on the obverse and the other at 6 o'clock on the reverse (that one could be PMD). The notch on the obverse almost appears to be a letter or another device stamped into it. It is still in the 2x2 that I got it in (melt value) but I will get pics when I put it in a new 2x2.
