'Roman Coin' is a tetradrachm of Hadrian from the Provincial mint of Alexandria regnal year 14: http://www.acsearch.info/record.html?id=253686 I'm not fond of the surfaces. It is at least harshly cleaned and could have been treated with a silver wash I don't recogniz the other and suspect it is not ancient. The word REX on the obverse is not consistent with rest of what I see so I'd like to know what you find on this one.
is roman coin real ? the link u gave nd the coin i ve r different in looks and may b material em confused (is it possible to b made in different materials in the same period) yeah i knoe d second 1 isnt ancient its looks of 1800s not sure dunno wat my grandpa did or he bought it that way well never mind if the roman coin isnt fake so can it b worth something ?
You can't tell from the photo. My guess is that the coin was holed and plated to use as jewelry some time in the past and the coin could be real. The condition would make its value very low but it should be shown to a dealer in person.
The second coin reminds me of one I posted here recently. Maybe look at Naples Cavallo coins? See my thread for the excellent ID by DCH- http://www.cointalk.com/t185098/
