1952 S date and mint error (maybe?)

    Hello all, new here, Just found this one recently in one of those old wheat penny rolls do hope its a good one. Thought I would put it up here and see what you all thought. Not sure how this picture will turn out but if it doesn't we will try another one for you. It seems to have a slash right behind the 5 and all the way down to the S like it was something in the die. Did some looking and I can find no info on errors in that year. So here I'm asking you all whats it worth?

    Sorry gents, but PMD cannot cause the metal to rise. That is a die chip. As for the value, not much. I would guess 10¢

    I agree - die chip. Very little premium.
