Lamination

    I have been corresponding for some time with a disillusioned CT poster who thinks we are too mean... He just sent me this photo and it looks like a lamination to me...chime in please:

    Can you insert a thin piece of paper into/under the surface of the suspected de-lamination?

    Yes! I remembered that picture from a prior post and were I got my advice from.
    Ed is it lamination or de-lamination?

    Delamination. In a De-laminated the separated metal would be missing.

    I'm not sure how the others came to their conclusions, but I can't tell from that photo. With the date damage, it could be just PMD I'm seeing.

    Do you know where he touched it? Just get out a magnifying glass and get on the floor, that's what I'd do. You never know, you might find it.
