Hello, Who is going to the ANA show in Chi-town. I think it will be an awesome show - although I think the show should be downtown in the city rather than Rosemont.
I really want to go again this year. All these recent plane crashes have me scared though. I hate flying! I love being able to cherry pick new unc world mint sets with my loupe...picking out the highest ms state coins.
Might at well get used to Rosemont as The World's Fair of Money will be there 4 of the next 5 years. Richard
I'll be there Thursday and Friday. There was another thread going on this but it fell back a few pages. I figured more people would be talking about it as it got closer. I think the location is excellent. If you haven't already, go to google maps, and go look at the convention center. It's huge! Zoom in and drag the little yellow guy off the zoom bar and drop him on the street that goes by to get a street level view. You can click ahead and use the directional pad to look around. It's right next to O'Hare with multiple hotels across the street. Having it downtown would have added extra traveling hassles. And what little parking there is, you'd probably have to pay $20+ a day to park there. I'd probably get a $200ticket for my front windows being tinted on top of it. To be honest, Cook county is about the last place on earth I want to travel to, but I'm willing to do it for this event.
