1994 d cent, PMD or does lincoln have two eyes?

    so found this in a piggy bank full of pennies that were saved up and it seems to me that lincoln has two eyes.... i want to say its pmd, but the more i look at it, the more i can see a second eye. id like to hear what everyone else thinks. thanks!

    p.s. the reverse doesnt have anything wrong with it. its totally normal, if youd like to see it let me know.

    I agree...it's a PMD. Looks like someone tapped it with a center punch.

    That's exactly what Ive been thinking. But the shape of the area in question is strikingly similar to Lincolns eye. I think it's a pmd as well, but then again I'm not too experienced in error coins. Thanks for your input guys. Learning this stuff from real people beats reading a book.

    Take a close look at the center of the point in question. I suspect you will see a small hole there and the rest is the result of the zinc underneath rotting.
