2004 Iowa State Quarter Error?

    I have a 2004 Iowa State Quarter it is grey on the back and copper on the front. Any Ideas?

    Looks like a clad missing on the obverse side to me

    What is its weight. It should weigh 5.67 gms. If it's missing a clad layer, it would weigh less.
