Back in the day, long before I collected paper currency, I worked on cars.
At the end of my first day at Don's Auto Service, I quickly assembled a thin wood frame, painted it with Krylon Chevrolet Orange engine paint, and used 3M Gorilla snot, http://www.cbperformance.com/catalog.asp?ProductID=1055 to hold this memento to the frame. It's a series 1969 $1 G-C block note, and at the time, it was fairly new. Over the years, the frame has fallen apart, and I now keep the note in a currency sleeve.

Hope you didn't get any of that gorilla snot on the note Steve...could make it toxic.:D That's too funny. I don't have any great stories like that to share, but had to comment on yours. I would think that's one of your favorite notes because of the story behind it.

True story: Driving home from the San Bernardino Mountains here is southern california, My radiator hose blew, and I used "Gorilla Glue" to hold it until I got home (~20 miles).

In a similar situation, I cut myself pretty bad cutting firewood when camping, i used gorilla glue to hold my wound shut since I did not have anything else :)

I have a $5 bill framed in my garage. I won it on a bet with the cheapest ba$$ turd known to mankind. I've kept it since Jan. 17th, 1984.
