I would say yes, but I've seen others that were just copper plated so I won't say yes, just it's possible.

These have also been counterfeited and this one looks very suspect. Can you provide a bigger pic?

Looks to me like the 3 is just a modified 2. i may be wrong though.

Honestly the only way I would believe it is if it was graded by one of the major TPG's.

It's a real copper cent, but not a 1943. The last digit was modified to look like a '3'.
It's really obvious due to the size/shape of the '3'. Very unnatural looking.

I think the 3 looks right (or nearly so) and he says that it is not magnetic so it is not copper plated. However, there are enough features on that coin that are just not quite right that I would bet it is a Chinese fake.

That "3" looks like it's been drawn on the coin. Funky looking.....

    Compare with the "real deal".

The top of the three is slanted more to the left.

I bought it in auction. The coin did´nt stick to the magnet.Thats why i suspect that this could be original. And another thing was weight over 3,11 grams

Yeah, its been modified. Like they said above, a '42 made to look like a '43.
