I was at the casino this past weekend and came across a nice crisp newer twenty dollar bill. It was misaligned. The front was at the top edge of the paper and the back was perfectly centered. I spent it at a table without realizing it. Do notes like this have any extra value?
Misalignments sometimes have extra value but minor misalignments or cutting errors can actually detract from value. Was there part of another note at the bottom of the front? I don't think you screwed up.
there was not a part of another note on the bottom, correct me of i am wrong but i dont think it was miscut because the back was perfectly centered.
Sounds like a spender to me. For any real increase of value, you need a shift of the third print (serial numbers and seals), or else see a portion of another note on yours. As the front was misaligned slightly, it would have detracted from the overall grade of the note and be worth less.
