Let's say you had 100 common Morgans... For the purpose of the question, let's say they ARE MS63 RAW coins...

Would you trade them all for 80 common Morgans PCGS graded MS63 ?

Do you mean my 100 MS63 Morgans? or ones that are labeled in 2x2 at a store or show?

If mine or if I could open each 2x2 and look with no time limit, No, as I can tell MS63 Morgans in hand,

If pot luck, I would rather have the PCGS.

Why not spend the money and send in the 100 to get graded?

Absolutely! That would mean for $800 (20 morgans x $40), I would be getting around $2,000 (80 morgans x $25) in grading fees alone. And since in plastic, they would be easier to sell and to get top dollar for each coin.

Here's a question to ponder: if you had 100 MS63 common-date Morgans, would you trade them for anything at all?

If I was offered 200 tons of gold I would definitely accept that offer.

I would trade them for LOTS OF OTHER COINS TO COMPLETE OTHER SETS!

Back to the original question, yes. I wouldnt even hesitate to trade for the graded coins. Graded coins are so much easier to sell.

I definitely would!!! Grading fees would be way too expensive!!

Not for MS 63's maybe 65's or higher. Not worth it for common coins with low average grades.
