I have an 1894 "Belgen" 10 Centiemen coin. The site worldcoingallery.com states that the Krause catalog states the coin's value is between $30 for fine to $225 for Extra Fine. Yet the mintage is over 9 million for the date of my coin. Is this price range even remotely accurate?

My Krause says Fine $0.75, VF $3,XF $7
You might be mixing it up with the 1895/4 which means the 5 is over the 4
those values are F$9,VF$35,,XF$1210,Unc $225. and only 3.5 million were struck

Thanks, that sounds more accurate. Any ideas if there might be a picture of one somewhere? I'd like to know what to look for just in case mine is one of those :D!

the one you describe is the 10 cents with the dutch legends, the actual mintage is 9209000, not a rare coin but a nice one all the same...........this is the rarer 1895 with the 5 over the 4 as davey said.
