Cool - You had a nice score on Friday huh? The halves have been really bad lately for me. Were you in SE PA when you found the rolls? I want to make sure I'm not hitting areas you've peppered already. I'm thinking of taking a Friday off sometime soon and doing a full day run. Just not sure where to head, but I think it'll be away from here.

BTW - how's the new job?

    Thanks Ace & Merc!
That box is well above my average. For me and dimes I had a couple tuff weeks. To finish my first roll and find the Merc it makes it all good. I got $250 in Q's I'm going to go through now. I'm going to check for Wisconsin low leaf as well as silver.

Is a roll of wheats good for a week of searching?

New job rocks, dude, I love it. I have money, like, to spend on things besides gas and bills! I've gone a little overboard buying Merc dimes...

I found the big three rolls a mere 8 minutes from my house. The heart of my searching turf, a bank I go to almost every week but hadn't been in for a month due to training and whatnot. If you want my advice on where to hit, I would go North... Wealthy areas. Doylestown, maybe. Or Jersey, although I know there are several searchers in Southern Jersey. I'm off next Tuesday and doing a run south through New Castle to Elkton on Rt. 40. Only 91 degrees, so it shouldn't be TOO bad. I'll prob sweat like 5 pounds off anyway.
    For three boxes, that's great.

I'm sure this pales in comparison to a few (The Texans, JJDE) but here's a picture of what I've pulled from circulation so far, NOT including $200 face in 40% silver I sold.

    $6.55 war nickels
    $30.50 1964 Halves
    $55.50 40% Halves
    $17.50 Franklins
    $13.00 WLH's
    $2.25 Washington Q's
    $38.20 Silver Roosies
    $4.60 Mercury Dimes
    $2.70 Dateless Buffs
    $3.05 Readable Date Buffs
    $1 Peace dollar
    $3 1972 Ike T2's

What else isn't in there? $6.50 in silver dimes, $18 in silver halves, and 10 war nickels. Countless wheats, a few V-Nicks, IHC's... point is, it's definitely possible to put a nice set together from circulation these days.

I wanna see some of your guys' stashes, especially you, Erin.

I search and sometimes dump in Doylestown, Merc. Actually probably going to make phone calls and head the PA way down there from NJ via 202 tomorrow...

You go to school in the area? My girlfriend went to school at DVC. Class of '09 IIRC. That was before my roll-searching days.

Probably accurate, haha. He must have a large SDB.

    Also, pics of the mercs?

No, went to school in Reading, but my grandmother used to live near Perkasie, so I am familiar with much of PA along 202, 313, 113, 611, and 132. Its amazing how many banks are along route 202. Also live in NJ about a 10 minute walk from PA. Just passed DVC today actually.

Yeah, 202 is mad populated with banks all the way down into DE.
