This one is a bit easier than the buffalo nickel, but not by much. This the second of five in a 1905 proof set I'm putting together...Mike Seller's photos: My photos: A (bad) shot showing the color: The coin is in an old green PCGS holder that is very scratched up. Enjoy...Mike
The coin is graded PF 66 by PCGS. It is in an old green holder. My thoughts on the coin, all IMHO... The pictures truly do not do this coin justice. The mirrors are very deep and colorful. If anything, I think this coin may be undergraded, as PCGS does not like darkly toned coins such as this. I do not see a hairline or contact mark on the coin. I believe this coin was stored in original tissue paper issued by the mint for many years, and that's how the coin got its coloration. As such, it is wholly original. Thanks for all your responses & kind words (except the corrosion and rim ding comments. )...Mike
