1909 VDB cent

    Got this at toll booth as part of a toll payment (all cents). Did not count at the time due to the heavy traffic volume. When things died down I began checking the coins.

    The wheat side was up and I saw the VDB first. The coin has moderate wear but most of the coin's details can still be seen.

    Not sure how to preliminarily grade this, as I'm sure it holds some value but not as much as others.

    Please excuse the scans - even at 500% the VBD is barely noticeable.

    I think that's a great find. It's probably worth $5 or so...they are pretty common. But, you can't beat a VDB cent found in circulation.
