No date buffalo nickel?

    Hello,
    Im currently crh looking for silver:) and I found a no date Buffalo nickel. What should I do with it?

    Its worth about a dollar or less, just a cool thing to hold on to!

    It is much cooler than a regular buffalo though, since you found it in a roll

    No silver in the no-date Buffalo Nickel. Keep looking.

    It's of no real value. Spend it or give it to a neighborhood kid; it might spark someone else's interest in collecting.

    I would spend it, with the hopes of someone finding it in change and getting them interested in numismatics.

    I talked to a gentleman a few years ago that used dateless buffalo nickels to make cufflinks out of them!

    You can soak it in white vinegar for about a week. Sometimes, you will get a weak date at the end. Heck, what do you have to lose?
