1696 Commemorative Medal - Capturing of Azov

    Hey everyone :)

    This is a Russian medal I recently acquired. It's from 1696 and it features Peter the 1st on the front and is commemorating the capture of Azov. Quite an interesting medal. I have only found about 3 others on the internet, it was a hard coin to research!

    I just found one in UNC condition that sold for about $300... and thats a COPY :) so I would say these are worth a nice chunk.
