A good week for errors

    Sometimes you go for ages it seems like, without finding anything, then they all come at once.


    Monday I got a couple rolls of halfs from the bank. No silver unfortunately but I did find this struck thru. Looks like a piece of wire.

    Thursday I found this Rosie in my change. It's my first ever partial collar.

    Finally, yesterday I got this quarter in change. It has a planchet flaw. I'm not sure if the plating was there before it was struck and then peeled or if it was struck like that.

    Very nice! I just found 3 yesterday. All on cents, one was a wheat cent from 53 I believe and the mint mark looks like it should he a D but the center wasn't stamped out so its just a bubble. The other two look like off center strikes, one on a pre 82 copper cent and the other post 2000 can't remember dates off hand. I plan on putting up pics later.

    I found this partail collar error nickel last week and it is my first.

    I listed it on ebay and it sold for 2.25 + the .75 for shipping. I found it in a roll so I only had 5 cents in it. I like looking for error coins but my real love is the buffalo nickels.
