I'm considering starting a set of $1 Small Size Silver Certificates. So far I've got two pricing guides: -- the green sheet -- Standard Guide to Small-Sized U.S. Paper Money/1928 to Date, 8th edition Experience with coins suggests that I probably will need access to 1 or 2 more guides. An online guide would be particularly helpful. Recommendations, please.
I would either look for the 9th edition of the Standard Guide to Small-Sized U.S.Paper Money, or wait till December when Scott says the 10th edition should be out. On line prices can be found here; http://www.trackandprice.com/samplescrcurr.html, and you can research Heritage and eBay for prices realized.
I always use Standard Catalog of Untied States Paper Money. It's in its 29th edition and previous editions can usually be found cheap online. I wouldn't go older than 26th though.
