i have an indian head penny that is in very nice condition but not uncirculated. any ideas on its value?
1904 is a pretty common date and in average circulated condition is worth a few dollars. With coins, condition is everything and grading a coin depends on very subtle details. So, it might be worth a little more. Photos of both sides would help us give you a better idea.
That's OK. I would assume it's fairly well circulated (as most of them are) and that makes it worth a couple dollars.
Hey andyrew, I'm andyluw! Welcome to CT I use my Droid x for pics sometimes using the macro setting from several inches away, and then I zoom and crop to get what I need. Sometimes you have to play with the lighting and angles, but you should be able to capture enough detail to give us a better idea of condition so folks can help out. Good luck!
