I just purchased this 1795 plain edge large cent today at a coin show. I paid $85. Do you think I got a good price on it considering the condition. It looks like you can fully read the date the best. Then you can make out "Liberty". The reverse is cetainly the worse, but you can still make out features there including part of "States". WHat do you guys think?

For an undamaged, uncorroded large cent from 1795, I think you did all right. I'm sure, in the not too distant future, those early large cents will demand a little stronger premium for coins that are clean like yours.

Agreed. Thats a nice corrosion free large cent. Increasingly harder to find, a keeper for sure.
