Nice coin indeed! I have one like that too; not well preserved though. They tend to get expensive in excellent condition. By the way, the "1909" year is a frozen date, but they did not make that many of them anyway, roughly 670,000. What I also find interesting in the German name of the territory - "Kiautschou". The main city or capital, so to say, was Tsingtau/Qingdao - the town that the territory was named after (Kiautschou/Jiaozhou) was not part of it ... Christian
