I have no idea what the value would be, but I was wondering about this recently. I know when I was younger the BEP sold uncut sheets of money and so how do collectors tell the difference between actual errors and people who cut their sheets?

It's worth two bucks, because it isn't an error. Somebody cut it this way on purpose, from one of the uncut sheets that the BEP sells to collectors. You can tell it came from an uncut sheet by its high serial number (and, in this case, also by the F..H serial block, which wasn't used for circulation printings).

The serial number ranges used for the uncut sheets are approximately known. In recent years, the BEP hasn't reported the uncut sheet printings the way they report the circulation printings, but collectors still keep track of them by recording serials of observed sheets. See here for more information.

Hey Numbers I been collecting for many years but I never found a place where I can find the value of my goodies. Is a $2 1928 red seal bill a nice piece of currency to have?

There are some resources out there. On my blog I have a page with some recommended reading that may help you. Dig around ebay and see what's out there under completed listings. Also take a look at auction house websites and their realized prices.

Sorry mate, hope you didnt pay to much money for it. Ive seden people on ebay try to pass them as legit errors and sell them for 50 dollars each! They prey on the more "un-educated" in the field of errors. The latest scam is 100 mills .999 fine silver bars..... makes me sick seeing people cheat others

No doubt! I've even seen current 32 subject $1 uncut sheets pawned off for $300 on Ebay!!! They can be had direct from the BEP for under $60 bucks w/free shipping! There is always going to be vultures expecting folks not to read the fine print, or jump on it.
I saw some guy clean up a bunch of toned 21-D Morgans that were gold plated! I bought these myself from right around $30 bucks just last week. Apparently this guy thought because they were gold plated or toned (Cheap gold with loads of Copper that tones easy) they must be worth at least $60 bucks! That's right he bought about 10 at $60-69 each!!! Coin-Vault Bait!!!
